Hugo is into all things bright, bold, and powerful. For as long as he can remember, Hugo has been drawn to the timeless imagery of traditional American tattoos and has become obsessed with the rich history this art form holds. If you can’t see what the tattoo is from across the room it’s never really grabbed Hugo.

Having spent the majority of his time in street shop environments since he began tattooing in 2022, Hugo is confident in tackling whatever comes through the door; with the exception of realism tattoos. As long as a tattoo machine is in his hands, Hugo is a happy man!

Having been mentored by Macy Tattoos, an accomplished Neo-Traditional artist based in Sydney’s Inner West, Hugo has developed a real skill for collaborating with his clients and brainstorming to develop a unique and classic spin on traditional American tattoos. He has grown a following of loyal customers that come to him for this work.

Inspired by the custom tattoo revolution of the 70s in San Francisco pioneered by artists such as Ed Hardy, Greg Irons, Dan Higgs, and Eddy Deutsche, Hugo is excited to keep this personalised tattoo experience alive, and is always looking to create one off designs specific to his clients desires.
